Phanuel mathjoke

My name is Phanuel Mariano and I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of New Haven. I was previously a Golomb Visiting Assistant Professor at Purdue University from 2018-2019. I received a Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Connecticut in 2018 and a B.A. in mathematics from Western Connecticut State University in 2012. I work in the intersection of probability, analysis and sub-Riemannian geometry.

My adviser at UConn was Professor Maria Gordina. I worked with Professor Rodrigo Bañuelos at Purdue.
