I am a Differential Geometer and General Relativist. Currently, my research focusses on (i) Riemannian Geometry of Complex and Contact Spaces, and (ii) Cosmological Models and Solutions of Einstein’s Field Equations with or without Symmetries. Aside from the core research, I am also keenly interested in the current issues in Cosmology, such as Dark Energy and Dark Matter. I have been involving senior undergraduate students in relevant Mathematical Projects.

I was a Fulbright Lecturer at Sri Sathya Sai University (India) during 2005. I love teaching traditional mathematics courses with immense enthusiasm, and seek excellence in teaching by presenting the seemingly dull mathematical notions in interesting and appealing manners.

I had the opportunity to attend the 2014 ICM Satellite Conference on Real and Complex Manifold and the 18th International Workshop on Differential Geometry at the National Institute for Mathematical Sciences (NIMS) in Daejeon, Korea this August. The proceedings will be published in the "Proceedings in Mathematics and Statistics, published by Springer (PROMS, ISSN: 2194-1009) in 2014. The slides of my presentation are accessible online, as are some photos, view1, view2, and view3, of the attendees.

I served as the International Chairman of the International Workshop on Differential Geometry, Foundations and Prospects, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, Prasanthinilayam, India, July 10-11, 2015. I also chaired the panel discussion
